Summary
The CSIR/O Chemical Engineering Section was originally part of the CSIR Division of Industrial Chemistry and traversed the transition of CSIR to CSIRO in 1949. In the early 1962 the Section was granted Divisional status, becoming the CSIRO Division of Chemical Engineering.
