Summary

Roger Vine Hall, BE MIEAust AMIEE, was associated with the Sydney electricity undertaking for forty years, starting as a Junior Assistant Electrical Engineer with the Sydney City Council in 1903, rising to Assistant Chief Electrical Engineer in 1935. When the electricity function was transferred to the Sydney County Council in 1935 he became Chief engineer, and then General Manager from 1939, until he retired in 1944.

He was closely associated with the expansion of the electricity network during the 1930s, including the Bunnerong power station and distributions system.
