Summary

The Australia and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology (originally the Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell Biology) works to foster research, including in the Asia-Pacific region, through: holding meetings and disseminating information on the latest research trends and ideas; advocacy with government bodies; and presenting awards which recognise significant achievements in the field. The Society participates in the biennial COMBIO conference, the major biological sciences meeting in Australasia and held in conjunction with other academic Societies.
