In 2018 the Department of Health and Ageing (2012 - 2018) changed its name to the Department of Health and Wellbeing (2018 - ). The portfolio within which the Department of Health and Wellbeing sits alongside related authorities such as the SA Ambulance Service, Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health, Wellbeing SA, and Digital Health SA is referred to as SA Health.
