Summary

In 2006 the Western Australian Department of Agriculture was renamed the Department of Agriculture and Food (DAFWA). DAFWA was responsible for the state's agriculture including food production, integrity and trade. In 2017 DAFWA was amalgamated with the Department of Fisheries (2001 - 2017) and the Department of Regional Development to form the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (2017 - )
