Summary
Muelleria (ISBN 0077-1813 ) is the research journal published by National Herbarium of Victoria. It was issued initially with financial assistance from the Maud Gibson Trust to provide the staff of the Herbarium with means of publishing their research at time when there were few such opportunities relating to taxonomic material within Australia. Early issues carried subtitles which were later dropped. The frequency has been variable, although recent issues have been twice per year. Editors have included: James H. Willis, Rex B. Filson, Helen I. Aston, Donald B. Foreman, Teresa Lebel, Neville Walsh and Frank Udovicic. Muelleria was named after Ferdinand von Mueller, the first Government Botanist of Victoria from 1853 to 1896.
