Summary
Michael Taylor has made significant contributions to natural resource and agricultural policy and management. Michael Taylor has served as the chair person or chief executive of a number of organisations in both the government and the not for profit sector. These organisations include the Gardiner Foundation, the Murray Darling Basin Authority, the bushfire Cooperative Research Centre, the Australian Dairy Industry Council and the Federal Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. In 2007 Michael Taylor became an Officer of the Order of Australia.
