Summary
With a keen interest in botany and Australian plants from youth, Fagg has been working at the Herbarium of the Australian National Botanic Gardens (formerly Canberra Botanic Gardens) since 1970. Since 2000, he has worked at the Botanical Information Group, managing the dissemination of botanical information and the image and photography collection.
Details
Murray Fagg illustrated and published a range of botanical-horticultural books with John Wrigley. His private collection of 40,000 photographs of Australian plants and vegetation has been used widely for publications in both scientific and popular literature, including the online Australian Plant Name Index.
