Summary

Raymond Jones is a tropical agriculture expert who worked in the CSIRO Division of Tropical Pastures, and its later iterations, from 1960 to 1998. In 1985 Jones was awarded the CSIRO Medal for Research Achievement for his work in solving the toxity problem in cattle grazing on the tropical legume Leucaena by modifying the rumen microbial population.
