Summary
Doris Alma Goy was an avid collector of plants especially ferns. She has named seven fern types and published a series of articles in top naturalist journals with C.T. White on Queensland ferns. Goy was married to Queensland botanist Lindsay Smith and when he died she wrote up his notes on the biological control of the weed Lantana and published it in the 1982 Queensland Herbarium's Botany Bulletin.
