Summary
Lynsey Welsh was appointed as a technical assistant to the cereal chemist at the Yanco Agricultural Institute in 1972. Amongst her achievements, Welsh is listed as the co-developer of three rice varieties. She was promoted several times, becoming Chemist in 1996. Welsh made key contributions to both cereal chemistry and near infrared spectroscopy.
