Summary
Royal Barondes, MD, FRSA (London), FRIPHHM (UK), from San Francisco, California, was a veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Department during both World Wars. He corresponded with Sir Alexander Fleming and Howard Florey re penicillin. He later returned to private medical practice and designed innovative surgical instruments and conducted research on new pharmaceuticals.
