Papers including correspondence with Sir Alexander Fleming, Ethel Florey and Howard Florey, 1944-50, notes, 1944-45, a reprint of an article on penicillin signed by Florey, 1944 and magazine clippings re Fleming and Florey, 1951-55 (2002/87/1). Preserved specimens of Penicillium notatum from Florey's laboratory supplied to Barondes in 1944, Florey & Cairns' booklet Investigations Concerning Penicillin in War Wounds, 1943 and photograph of Dr Barondes, 1918.
