Summary
C. J. J. Watson, of the Queensland Forest Service, made a comprehensive study on North Queensland woods during the 1930s to classify them for building purposes according to their durability and strength. He wrote a series of 5 pamphlets on Queensland timbers between 1939 and 1964.
