Summary

Oliver Mayo was Chief of the Division of Animal Production at CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) from 1989. Prior to this he had held senior positions at the University of Adelaide and the University of Edinburgh. May's research at CSIRO dealt with the statistical aspects of evolution and population quantitative genetics.
