Summary
E. C. Potter and C.A. Paulson led a CSIRO team during the 1970s that developed a technique for reliably estimating the design parameters for a projected precipitator, using observations obtained from a scaled-down coal combustion furnace. This led to more fly ash being collected and cleaner smoke emissions.
