Summary
Sir Edward Knox was a director of the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney 1845-1901 and manager 1847-1851. He was manager of the Australasian Sugar Company 1843-1854 and in 1855 founded the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, of which he was the first chairman of directors, holding the post until 1901.
