Summary
Francis Kemble formed the Australian Sugar Company with William Knox Child in 1841. However after a trade slump and disagreements among the principals the company was closed within a year. The following year Kemble resurrected the company calling it the Australasian Sugar Company. He was works manager there until 1843.
