Summary

George Foletta founded Prestige Ltd, a hosiery manufacturer (1922). He was managing director 1937-1948, chairman (from 1943), and governing director from 1948. By 1968 the company was producing a complete range of men's, women's and children's clothing. In that year the firm was taken over by Dunlop Australia Ltd and he retired as chairman and governing director.
