Summary
John Bach was an associate professor in history at the University of Newcastle 1968-1985. He wrote a number of significant books on maritime themes, including A Maritime History of Australia (1976), and The Australia Station: a history of the Royal Navy in the south west Pacific, 1821 - 1913 (1986).
