Summary
Robert Boan had a chemical consultancy practice from 1923-1952. He was an expert in paint and petroleum industries and did a lot of work for the Standards Association of Australia, mainly in the paint field.
Details
Born Melbourne, 24 December 1890. Died Sydney, 19 October 1952. Educated University of Melbourne. Research work for the Willsmere Certified Milk Company, private practice as consultant, Elsternwick, Borthwicks Pty Ltd ca 1919-23, consulting practice 1923-52. His father, R. Boan (q.v.), worked in the practice 1925-29 and 1933-36.
