Summary
Bobbie Vaile was a senior lecturer in physics in the faculty of business and technology at the University of Western Sydney Macarthur. She was instrumental in forming the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Australia Centre there. It was launched in December 1995.

Senior lecturer in physics, faculty of business and technology, University of Western Sydney Macarthur, member of the SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) at Parkes 1995-96. Australian Science Communicators Unsung Hero award 1995. Commemorated by a memorial garden at UWS Macarthur.
