Summary
Dick Pescott was the seventh Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne 1957-1970. Previously he had worked in the Science Section of the Victorian Department of Agriculture and was Director of the National Museum of Victoria 1944-1957. Pescott was educated at Wesley College, Melbourne and at the University of Melbourne (MAgrSc).
