Howard Forster was Professor of Agriculture, University of Melbourne 1957-1969. He was Assistant Executive Officer, CSIRO, Melbourne 1949-1956 after joining CSIR in 1946. He had earlier been a Research Officer with the Victorian Department of Agriculture from 1926.
