Summary
The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Division of Biomolecular Chemistry Division, formerly of Medicinal and Agricultural Chemistry, was formed in 2000 to better reflect the goals and vision of the Division, which included the promotion of scientific interactions with other relevant scientific bodies. This was achieved when the Biomolecular Chemistry Division forged links with the Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry, the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies and the Australian Society for Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology.
