Summary
The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology took its present name in 1993. Anatomy has been taught at the University of Melbourne since the 1860s. In 2002 the Department has a large staff which includes 16 academic staff, 22 general staff, 19 Research Fellows and 15 grant-supported research staff.
