Summary
Henry and Edward Youngman were early Australian wholesale chemists. In 1855 Youngman, McCann & Co bought out Walker, Hood & Co., importing druggists. During 1863 the business became known as Youngman & Co. however Joseph McCann remained a partner until 1864. In 1866 the company was bought out by Felton Grimwade & Co. who then established the Melbourne Glass Bottle Works at Graham Street Emerald Hill (South Melbourne)
