Summary
At Lucinda Point, the Port of Hinchinbrook, the Queensland Sugar Board operated the largest sugar loader in the world. They held the marketing monopoly for Queensland sugar. In 2004 the Board was replaced by Queensland Sugar Limited - an industry-owned company.
