Summary
Management Investment Companies (c.1980s-1992) was an Australian Government tax induced scheme aimed at encouraging new business ventures and capital investment. Over time, the scheme struggled mainly as a result of the stock market crash of 1987. In 1992, the Government replaced the MIC scheme with the Pooled Development Funds program.
