Summary
The Coal Industry Tribunal was established in March 1947. The function of the Tribunal was to settle disputes in industrial matters that affected members of the Miner's Federation. In June 1995 the Australian Industrial Relations Commission took over the function of the Tribunal, which then ceased to exist.
