Summary
The Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Company of Australasia Ltd was formed by a Canadian syndicate in 1899 when they purchased the Australian interests from the Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Company Ltd. In 1905 it acquired its main rival the Barnet Glass Rubber Company. In 1906 it became the Dunlop Rubber Company of Australia Ltd.
