Summary

The CSIRO Irrigation Research Laboratory replaced the Irrigation Research Station in 1961. In 1967 the Laboratory gained divisional status, becoming the CSIRO Division of Irrigation Research. Eric Hoare was Officer-in-Charge 20 February 1958 - 27 August 1967.
