Summary
A. M. Bickford and Sons was established in Adelaide, by Anne Margaret Bickford, who took over her husband's pharmaceuticals business after his death. In 1902 a joint venture between Adelaide's A. M. Bickford and Sons and Melbourne's Felton Grimwade & Co resulted in the establishment of Felton Grimwade & Bickfords Ltd in Western Australia. In 1930, A. M. Bickford and Sons amalgamated with several other companies, including Felton Grimwade & Co., forming Drug Houses of Australia Ltd.
