Summary

The Baas Becking Geobiological Laboratory was established in the late 1960s. The Laboratory was jointly operated by the CSIRO's Division of Mineralogy, the Bureau of Mineral Resources and the Australian Mineral Industries Research Association. In about 1985 the Laboratory ceased to exist.
