Summary

Established in 1967, the Army Tropical Trials Establishment undertook the testing of military equipment in tropical conditions. In 1977 the Army Tropical Trials Establishment was amalgamated with the Joint Tropical Research Unit to form the Joint Tropical Trials Research Establishment.
