Summary
On January 1, 1998, Victoria University of Technology's Department of Civil and Building Engineering was amalgamated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering to form the School of the Built Environment. The School is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Science.
In 2006 the School of the Built Environment did not appear to exist anymore. It has most likely been incorporated in to the School of Architectural, Civil and Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Health, Engineering and Science.
