Summary
One of the original faculties at Monash University, around 150 of the total 360 students enrolled in the first year of the University's existence were enrolled in Arts. Initially the Faculty consisted of four departments: History, English, Philosophy and Modern Languages. The Faculty of Arts has grown to include ten schools.
