Abstract

The Council of The Institution has decided that the 1961 Awards of the J. R. Bainton Prize and the R. J. N. Franki Medal be made to Mr. T. G. O'Meally, BSc BE StudIEAust, for his paper entitled "Effects of distorted primary voltages on mercury arc rectifiers", which was published in the Jan-Feb 1960 issue of The Journal.
