Abstract

Two of the papers discuss the design and construction of the 155 ft. high Eppalock Dam which, after Upper Yarra and Eildon Dams, is the third highest Dam in Victoria. A unique pumping station, utilizing the energy available from released irrigation water, is the subject of the third paper.
Sales of water from the new reservoir for productive use were achieved thirty-six months after "notice to proceed" was received from the Government.
