Summary
CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science (CASS) was created in December 2009 by the bringing together of the Australian Telescope National Facility, NASA Operations (including Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex), CSIRO Space Sciences and Technology, and CSIRO Boeing Advisor. During CSIRO's reorganisation in 2014, CASS remained a separate division and did not become a flagship.
