Summary

Ian Everist, OAM MIEAust, was a leading water and sewerage engineer, and was Managing Director, Fisher Stewart Pty Ltd, a major firm of consulting engineers and surveyors in Victoria. Previously he was an engineer then senior partner with Garlick and Stewart from 1954 to 1988.

His notable contribution to water engineering and sewerage management was recognised when he was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2007.
