Summary

Search (ISSN 0004-9549) was published by Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science in 28 volumes between 1970 and 1997. It's predecessor was the Australian journal of science. A general science journal, its focus was on scientific advancement in Australia and New Zealand, particularly on social and economic apsects of scientific research. It was incorporated into the magazine Australasian science under the title Australasian science incorporating Search (ISSN 1440-3919).
