Summary

The Serventy Conservation Award was inaugurated in 1999 by the Wildlife Conservation Society of Australia. It is awarded annually to commemorate the outstanding contributions to wildlife conservation of the Serventy family: Vincent, who was President of the Society from 1966 to 2001, and his siblings Dominic and Lucy. The purpose of the Award is to recognise and celebrate conservation work that has not been done as part of a professional paid career. In 2015 the Award was renamed the Serventy Conservation Medal.
