Summary
Sir Francis Anderson was the first Challis Professor of Logic and Mental Philosophy, at the University of Sydney from 1890 until 1922. He took a leading role in education reform and was knighted in 1936 in recognition of his services to the University of Sydney. He was a founding council member, Mental Science, of the Australian National Research Council in 1921.
