Summary
The Royal Society of New South Wales Medal (sometimes called the Bronze Medal) was awarded for published papers between 1884 and 1896, together with a cash prize of £25. After being in abeyance for 47 years, the Medal was revived in 1943. It is now awarded (usually annually) to a member of the Society who had made meritorious contributions to the advancement of science, including administration and organization of scientific endeavour and for services to the Society.
