Summary

Civil Engineering Transactions [ISSN: 0020-3297] and various later titles, was published by the Institution of Engineers Australia from 1959 - 2002. It contains scientific and research papers on civil engineering topics relevant to Australia. It was usually published once or twice a year. Prior to 1959, civil engineering papers were included in the 'Journal of the Institution of Engineers, Australia' [ISSN: 0020-3319] so these Transactions partially supersede that Journal. From 2003 it was superseded by the Australian Journal of Civil Engineering [ISSN: 1448-8353].
