Summary
The Australian Society of Biophysics focuses on the application of physical and physicochemical methods to the study of biological systems. It welcomes researchers, teachers and others with interests in this field. The first meeting was held in 1975. Awards presented by the Society include the Bob Robertson Award which recognises outstanding contributions to the field of biophysics in Australia and New Zealand, and the McAulay-Hope Prize for Original Biophysics.
