Summary
The Prime Minister's Prize for Science is the principal award made by the Australian Government to recognise outstanding achievements in scientific research and teaching. This Prize is one of seven awarded annually as the Prime Minister's Prizes for Science: the others are for Life and Physical Scientists of the Year, innovation, and excellence in teaching at primary and secondary school levels. These Prizes supercede the Australia Prize, which was awarded from 1990 to 1999.
