Summary

The Department of Hospital and Allied Health Services was established in 1981 originating from the Public Health Department of Western Australia (1911 - 1984). In 1984 it was merged with the Public Health Department of Western Australia (1911 - 1984) and Western Australian Mental Health Services (1954 - 1984) to form the Health Department of Western Australia (1984 - ).
