Summary
Peter Spratt is a civil engineer specialising in restoration and conservation of heritage structures. He has been in private practice since 1992 and worked with municipal and state authorities throughout Australia. Among his most high-profile projects have been the buildings at the Port Arthur penal settlement and the Richmond Bridge, both in Tasmania. Spratt is noted for the innovative engineering techniques he uses in his work. In 2017 he was awarded the John Monash Medal by Institution of Engineers, Australia.
